NEXCO EAST Ichihara Management Office (Ichihara City, Chiba Prefecture) will be closed at night at the Chiba-Togane Road Yamada Interchange (IC) to repair damaged pavements. Roadblock point is, the entrance from the general road (entrance to the Tokyo area), and, Out-bound is towards the exit (exit from the Tokyo area).
We apologize for the inconvenience, but we kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation so that you may have time when you go out.
1 Closing points and date and time

Chiba-Togane Road Yamada IC Entrance from general road and exit in the Out-bound direction
(2) Date and time
1) Entrance January 27th (Mon), 28th (Tue), 2014 Preliminary days: 29th (Wed), 30th (Thurs)
2 nights from 21:00 pm to 5:00 pm the following morning (8 hours of closed nights per day)
2) Exit February 3rd (Mon), 4th (Tuesday), 2014 Preliminary days: 5th (Wed) and 6th (Thurs)
2 nights from 21:00 pm to 5:00 pm the following morning (8 hours of closed nights per day)
If you use Chiba-Togane Road during the Yamada IC suspension time, please use another interchange.
In case of stormy weather, the decision will be made at 16:00 on the day of the implementation.

2 Detour

The detour due to the suspension of traffic at Yamada IC will be general national highway 126.
If you want to use the detour route, please use the Nakano IC.
3 Construction overview
At Chiba-Togane Road 's Yamada IC, the pavement is deteriorating and the riding comfort is getting worse. In order for our customers to use it safely and comfortably, we will carry out repair work by closing off at night. In order to minimize the impact on customers, we will carry out traffic closures during the nighttime on weekdays when traffic is light and carry out construction work intensively and efficiently.
