NEXCO EAST Taniwahara Management Office (Tsukuba Mirai City, Ibaraki Prefecture) is located at Ken-o Expressway (Ken-O Road) Tsukuba Chuo Interchange (IC)-Inashiki IC, replacing road safety facilities and roads. We will carry out traffic closures at night to check equipment.

1 closed section and date and time
- (1) section: Ken-O Road Tsukuba Central IC ~ Inashiki up and down lines between the IC (extension 23.8km)
- (2) Date and time: Tuesday, November 26, 2013 from 20:00 to 6:00 the next morning (10 hours)
[Preliminary day: Wednesday, November 27, 2013]
- In case of stormy weather, it will be postponed to the same time zone on the next day (27th).
- The decision to close the road will be made at 17:00 on the day of implementation.

2 Detour
Ken-O Road Tsukuba Central IC ~ Inashiki detour of time between is closed to traffic IC is the national highway and prefectural road running parallel. The time between Tsukuba Chuo IC and Inashiki IC (about 24km) is usually about 30 minutes, but if you use the detour route, the time will be about 50 minutes, so please take time to go. 3 Construction overview
Ken-O Road order to ensure safe and comfortable traffic between the Tsukuba Central IC and Inashiki IC on the Ken-O Expressway, we will carry out inspections of various road facilities at the same time, including replacement work of protective fences damaged by accidents.
In order to minimize the impact on our customers when we carry out these constructions, we will close the roads during the nighttime on weekdays when traffic is light, and carry out intensively and efficiently.
We ask for your understanding and cooperation so that our customers can use our products safely and comfortably.
Main work contents
- Road maintenance work
We will improve the runnability and safety by replacing the protective fences damaged by the accident and improving the road markings (lane marks).
- Facility maintenance work
We perform inspections to keep road lighting and ETC machines in good condition at all times.
