3 Construction overview

Due to repeated wheel loads due to the increase in size of vehicles, minute cracks have occurred, and spraying of antifreezing agent in winter has caused deterioration of concrete floor slabs (due to salt etc.) and rust on reinforcing bars. We have repeatedly carried out repairs from the past, but in order for our customers to use our products with peace of mind, a drastic long-term repair work was required.

In this construction, the deteriorated and damaged parts of the concrete slab will be removed, and new concrete and pavement will be used to improve the running performance and safety.

Since repairs take time, it is necessary to regulate one lane continuously for day and night.

4 Congestion prediction due to construction

During the construction period, the number of lanes that can be passed will decrease from 2 to 1 lane, so it is predicted that congestion at the top of the construction site will occur at a maximum of about 5 km in the morning and evening when traffic is heavy.

As a detour, there is Route 4 parallel to the Tohoku Expressway. When going out, please consider the route to be used with reference to road traffic information.

Please note that we will not adjust the charges even if you make a detour.
