NEXCO EAST Tokyo Wan Aqua-Line Expressway Management Office (Kisarazu City, Chiba Prefecture) is working to repair the pavement of the corridor (lamps) damaged by aging in the Tokyo Wan Aqua-Line Expressway Umihotaru Parking Area (PA). Close the PA at night.
During construction, you will not be able to enter or exit Umihotaru PA. Also, parking is not possible within the PA.
We apologize for the inconvenience, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
1 Night closures and dates
- (1) Closed place
Tokyo Wan Aqua-Line Expressway Umihotaru PA - (2) Date and time September 24th (Mon), 25th (Tue), 26th (Wed), 27th (Thursday)
From 20:00 to 6:00 the next morning (10 hours closed per day at night) Total 3 nights
- In case of stormy weather, it will be postponed to the same time zone from the next day.
- In the case of stormy weather, the decision to close at night will be made at 16:00 pm on the day of the implementation.
Umihotaru PA is closed.
You cannot enter or exit from Umihotaru PA during construction, so you cannot stay in the PA.

3 Construction overview
Tokyo Wan Aqua-Line Expressway Umihotaru PA lamps have deteriorated in pavement over the years. In order for customers to use Expressway safely and comfortably, we will close the lamps at night and perform pavement repair work.
In order to minimize the impact on customers, we will close the building during the nighttime on weekdays when traffic is light and carry out construction work intensively and efficiently.
