We are currently investigating the status of Expressway closures and damage due to the earthquake that occurred around 14:50 today in Miyagi Prefecture.
It should be noted, NEXCO EAST Kanto Regional Head Office (Taito-ku, Tokyo, Regional Head Office length: Shinichi Ishikawa) receives the time of the earthquake, Kanto Regional Head Office Kanto in the Regional Head Office has launched a disaster response headquarters.

2 Road damage
We are currently confirming the damage status, but the main status that is currently known is as follows.
- Depression with a depth of 50 cm between Joban Expressway Mito IC and Naka IC
- Joban Expressway Bridge girder shift between Tomobe JCT and Mito IC
- Tohoku Expressway Road bump between Nasu IC and Shirakawa IC
- Keiyo Road (bottom) Road collapse between Hanawa IC and Makuhari IC
- Keiyo Road (above) A step of about 50 cm between Makuhari IC and Hanawa IC
