NEXCO EAST Kanto Regional Head Office (Taito-ku, Tokyo) is the first 319 people who come after the opening date to commemorate the opening of the entire Kita-Kanto Expressway (nickname: "Kitakan") on March 19, 2011. We will present a "Prayer for passing prayer" that encloses a tunnel penetration stone.
Since tunnel penetration stone has the meanings such as "breakthrough difficult", "Hatsushi Toru", and "look ahead", it is highly valued by examinees as a guardian of the prayer for passing. NEXCO EAST, we have created the "Passing Prayer Amulet" that encloses this tunnel-penetrating stone, in the hope that it will support the examinees who are facing the critical situation.

About Kita-Kanto Expressway
Kita-Kanto Expressway is a Expressway length of about 150km that connects Gunma, Tochigi, and Ibaraki prefectures to Gunma prefecture's Takasaki city, and connects to the Pacific coast of Hitachinaka city, Ibaraki prefecture. The Tohoku Expressway and Joban Expressway have been linked to each other until now at Kitaseki, and the remaining Ota Kiryu Interchange (IC)-Sano Danuma IC (18.6km) will open, and three roads including the Kan-Etsu Expressway will open.
