In addition, as for the area between the Matsuo Yokoshiba IC and the Yokoshiba Hikari IC that is connected to the Chiba-Togane Road (managed by the Chiba Prefectural Highway Corporation), vehicles that entered from the Yokoshiba Hikari IC are generally available from the Matsuo Yokoshiba IC. Because you cannot get out of the way, it will be closed (no inflow).

2 Construction overview

Between Togane IC and Matsuo Yokoshiba IC on the Chiba-Togane Road is a two-lane section (one lane on each side), and about 10 years have passed since it opened in March 1998. Road structure repair work such as deterioration of safety facilities is required.

In order for customers to use it safely, it is necessary to repair pavement damage points, repair of bridge attachments, and cleaning/replacement of traffic safety facilities, etc., as a method to minimize the impact on customers. It is closed on weekdays when traffic is low, and construction work is carried out intensively and efficiently.

In addition, as part of the construction work for the Ken-o Expressway, we will also carry out a bridge erection work on National Road No. 126 ahead of the Togane Toll Gate.

We will improve the drivability and safety by improving the damaged parts on the pavement and replacing the lane markings (post cones).

・Construction of bridges for the Ken-o Expressway bridge

3 detour

Chiba-Togane Road Togane IC-Choshi Access Road Yokoshiba Hikari IC The detour when the road is closed is general national road 126.

The travel time between Togane IC and Yokoshiba Hikari IC is about 20 minutes, but if you use the detour route, the travel time will be about 45 minutes.

At the Togane Toll Gate on the Chiba-Togane Road, we will be simultaneously constructing a bridge for the Ken-o Expressway. Please follow the local guide and make a detour to the city road.
