Ken-O Road "Goal Declaration Project"

Ken-O Road was positioned as a “Goal Declaration Project” in November 2005, and we have announced the opening targets for each section and are proceeding with thorough business progress management.
We have compiled the achievement level of the 2006 business goals and the 2007 business goals, and will announce them.

Achievement and evaluation of FY2006 business goals

Achievement of FY2006 business goals
Business progressed smoothly on 18 of the 20 sections.
Between Nishikubo JCT and Ebina Kita JCT The target of “completion of land acquisition”, which is the business target for 2006, has not been achieved. With the goal of opening in 2010, we will continue to make efforts to acquire land-difficulty properties, etc. within 2007. In addition, we will begin land acquisition procedures.
Between Hachioji Minami IC and Hachioji JCT We have not achieved the goals of the FY2006 business goals of "Securing the land necessary for excavating the Takao Tunnel main pit" and "Starting the Takao Tunnel main dig". (We announced the start of excavation of Mt. Takao Tunnel on May 21, 2007.) Currently, one of the two targeted sites is still unable to cooperate. We will continue to proceed with voluntary negotiations and expropriation procedures, aiming to acquire land as soon as possible, and review the construction process.

FY2007 business goals

In FY2007, the Hachioji JCT-Akiruno IC (L=9.6km) was opened on June 23 of this year and achieved its goal. This connected Chuo Expressway to Kan-Etsu Expressway.
Also, within 2007 Tsurugashima JCT-Kawashima IC (L=7.7km) opened I will let you.
In addition, four sections from Nishikubo JCT to Ebina Kita JCT, Iris Shiraoka IC to Kuki Shiraoka JCT, Tsukuba IC to Tsukuba JCT, and Mobara Chonan IC to Kisarazu Higashi IC will acquire land at any time to achieve the target year. With We will proceed with preparations for business certification application.

Effects of introducing the goal declaration project

By publishing the opening goal, Ken-O Road plan of utilization of (corporate industrial expansion, etc.) will be easy to set up.
In addition, it promptly responds to and announces changes in the business situation, such as the announcement of the progress of construction between Hachioji Minami IC and Hachioji JCT and between Tsurugashima JCT and Kawashima IC.
Against this initiative, we received a feedback from the people of everybody, and the correspondence about the improvements, further Ken-O Road we aim to "visualization" of business development. *The IC/JCT name of the unused section is tentative
