  • One year has passed since the Futtsu Chuo IC-Futtsu Takeoka IC (about 7.5km) opened on the Tateyama Expressway (March 2005).
  • With this opening, the traffic volume on the Tateyama Expressway and Futtsu-Tateyama Road has increased to approximately 115% compared to the previous year.
In addition, there is a traffic characteristic that the usage rate on holidays is high (about 1.35 times that on weekdays), and it has increased by about 1,500 vehicles/day from the previous year.

  • Furthermore, with the opening of the entire Tateyama Expressway, a partially lacking road network will be maintained, the time required between Tokyo and Tateyama will be further shortened, and improvement of regional convenience and activation such as elimination of traffic congestion and congestion are expected. Will be done.
  • Regarding the unopened Kimitsu IC-Futtsu Chuo IC (about 9.2 km), construction of the full-scale construction is underway with the necessary road site secured, and by opening all lines by September 2007, it will become independent. We have signed an agreement with Japan Expressway Holding and Debt Repayment Organization.
