NEXCO EAST Hokkaido Regional Head Office (Atsubetsu-ku, Sapporo) has been conducting a trial operation of a service to notify drivers of the expected time when Expressway closures will be reopened since July 2024 in order to improve customer service, and will begin full-scale operation on Tuesday, April 1, 2025.
1. Events covered by the notice
We will inform you of the expected time when road closures will be lifted in the event of a traffic accident, broken-down vehicle, emergency construction (accident recovery, road repairs, etc.), or snow-related incidents.
Please note that this does not include road closures due to construction work that have been publicized in advance.
