NEXCO EAST Hokkaido Regional Head Office (Atsubetsu-ku, Sapporo) has published the "Hokkaido Driving Guide 2024 Spring/Summer Edition" (hereinafter referred to as the "Hokkaido Driving Guide") with the aim of promoting driving tourism within Hokkaido. Starting Monday, April 22nd, 100,000 copies will be distributed free of charge at service areas (SA), parking areas (PA), roadside stations, New Chitose Airport, and other locations throughout Hokkaido.
The Hokkaido Driving Guide is a compact information booklet containing useful information for driving, such as restaurants and tourist facilities throughout Hokkaido, and how to respond in emergencies on Expressway.
We also have a web version that can be viewed for free on PCs and smartphones. By showing the screen of the magazine or the web version, you can receive special benefits such as discounts at the 35 facilities featured in the magazine.
Please make use of the Hokkaido Driving Guide, which is packed with information to make your everyday drives even more enjoyable.

1. Soothe your soul. Seaside cafe and farm restaurant
   Enjoy cafe time with a view of the sea. Enjoy the luxury of eating freshly picked produce from the fields. Enjoy a drive around these cafes and restaurants.



2. A tour of various sweets
   Hokkaido is one of Japan's leading producers of red beans. There are plenty of sweets, from traditional sweets to new treats. Why not go for a drive and discover some new red bean paste sweets?

   Whether you prefer to relax or be active, we'll introduce you to facilities where everyone can have fun all day long.

2. Recommended pickup in the area! ～ Southern Hokkaido, Central Hokkaido, Northern Hokkaido, Eastern Hokkaido ～

We asked the Regional Promotion Bureau about the attractions of the area. We have listed recommended restaurants and sightseeing spots in the AQU area. By showing the screen of the magazine or the web version, you can receive benefits such as discounts at the facilities listed.

3. Hokkaido Smartphone Stamp Rally 2024 Spots

The Hokkaido Smartphone Stamp Rally 2024, which you can participate in just by registering with your smartphone, will be held from Monday, April 22nd. The Hokkaido Drive Guide introduces spots where you can enjoy the smartphone stamp rally by theme, titled "Feel the history of Hokkaido from the dinosaur era to modern times" and "See, feel and be moved! A journey to experience ​art." You can also use the HOKKAIDO LOVE! Michitoku Free Pass to enjoy a great drive and visit the stamp collection spots all over Hokkaido.

4. Recommended events in Hokkaido

We will introduce recommended events in Hokkaido in spring and summer.
