NEXCO EAST Hokkaido Regional Head Office (Atsubetsu-ku, Sapporo) will be the first Expressway in Hokkaido on December 4th, E5 Do-O Expressway (Doo Road) Chitose Interchange (IC) ~ Kita-Hiroshima IC and E5A Sasson Expressway (Tadaru Road) As we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the opening of the Otaru IC-Sapporo Nishi IC, we would like to thank everyone who has supported Expressway in Hokkaido so far. We will hold various commemorative events such as the 50th anniversary commemorative ceremony.

At the Chitose IC, where the opening ceremony was held 50 years ago, souvenirs such as shields and traffic certificates were presented to the five customers who won the lottery in advance, and they went to the Expressway at 15:00, which was the start time of the service at that time. 2. Distribution of commemorative goods

For the first 3000 customers (Wattsu PA 2000, Kanayama PA 1000) who shopped at the shops and convenience stores (excluding the food court) in both PAs located within the section that opened 50 years ago. We will give you a pass memorial certificate and an original eco bag.- For each PA, the commemorative goods to be distributed are limited to one set per person.

Large panels and digital signage about the history of the 50th anniversary of the Hokkaido Expressway, the renewal project carried out by NEXCO EAST, the four-lane business, future initiatives such as the automation of snowplows, and the memories and episodes related to the Expressway sent by everyone. I will introduce it using.
On the day of the event, the first 100 people (300 people in total) who responded to the questionnaire at the venue will receive an original small box containing 3 white lovers (with the 50th anniversary symbol logo).
- The 50th anniversary ceremony and panel exhibition may be canceled or shortened depending on the infection status of the new coronavirus. If the 50th Anniversary Ceremony is canceled, a gift will be mailed to the winners at a later date.

- Road surface conditions may change rapidly due to temperature differences between day and night and snowfall. Keep in mind safe driving according to the weather and road surface conditions, and install winter tires and other winter equipment on your vehicle as soon as possible.
