NEXCO EAST Hokkaido Regional Head Office (Sapporo City Atsubetsu-ku) is the traffic situation of Expressway in Hokkaido during the Obon period (August 7 (Fri)-16 (Sun) 10 days). I will tell you about it.
- Traffic volume decreased by about 26% compared to last year
- Number of traffic jams during the period is 5 times (-8 times compared to last year) 1 time traffic congestion for 5km or more (-2 times compared to last year)
- The longest traffic jam is around 11:10 on Thursday, August 13th, E5A 5.0 km caused by traffic concentration between Shitani Shiribeshi Expressway Otaru Shioya IC ⇒ Yoichi IC (In-bound / Yoichi direction).
