NEXCO EAST Otofuke Management Office (Otofuke-cho, Kato-gun), in collaboration with the Doto 3 Promotion Bureau (Tokachi, Kushiro, Nemuro), will hold an event "Hokkaido Highway Show Area ® 2019" on September 14th. It will be held on Saturday at the E38 Doto Expressway (Doto Expressway) Tokachiheigen Service Area (SA).
For the first time this year, high school students from Makubetsu Town will showcase YOSAKOI Soran and "Kibo Pool" will send a message of support to the areas affected by the Iburi Eastern Earthquake.

[1] Tourist information on Tokachi / Kushiro / Nemuro area

[2] Performance by "Koryo High School Welfare Department Soranbu" (Makubetsu Town) ☆ This is the first time!
The YOSAKOI Soran team, which consists of students and teachers from Ko Ryoko High School, which will close in 2020, has participated in the YOSAKOI Soran Festival six times in the past. We will pursue powerful and fresh dances that "can only be done by high school students and can only be done by high school students".

[3] Performance by Makubetsu High School and Makubetsu Seiryo High School (both in Makubetsu Town)
Students from the light music club of Makubetsu High School (left photo), which will close in 2020, and Makubetsu Seiryo High School (right photo), which was newly established this year, will perform.

[4] Initiatives for "Kibo Pool" and "Takafuku Collaboration" ☆ This is the first time!
We will hold a workshop to write a message of support to the area affected by the Iburi eastern earthquake on "Kibo (wooden stick)". The wooden playset "Kibo Pool", which is a collection of "Kibo", will be donated to a nursery school or kindergarten in the disaster area after the event.
In addition, for those who cooperated in writing the message, as part of the "Takafuku Collaboration" * that we are promoting, the Hokkaido timber produced by the people of the social welfare corporation "Toma Katarubenomori Kuruminanoki Yukan" We will give you a commemorative coaster.

3 Achievements at other SA / PA

This year, the "Hokkaido Highway Show Area ® 2019" has been held at four SAs and PAs on all roads, and a total of more than 10,000 people have visited. Tokachiheigen SA will be the last event of this year.
