Do-O Expressway Yufutsugawabashi, located between Tomakomai West IC and Tomakomai East IC, has been 38 years since its opening in 1980, and the small cracks caused by the increase in wheel load due to the increase in size of the vehicle, The floor slab must be replaced because the concrete floor slab is deteriorated and the reinforcing bars are rusted due to salt content caused by spraying antifreeze during the winter.
In order to replace the concrete floor slab of the bridge, it is necessary to close the Out-bound line (for Sapporo), but one of the two lanes for the In-bound line (for Muroran) should be closed for the Out-bound line (for Sapporo). By carrying out transfer and face-to-face traffic, construction will be carried out with minimal impact on traffic.
