- The construction period may change depending on the weather and work progress.
3 Traffic restrictions
During floor slab replacement work, Reduce the section of each two lanes of up and down lanes to one lane and consolidate into In-bound lanes To do. For the first few days at the start and end of the construction period, there will be an all-day overtaking lane restriction for the up and down lines as a preparatory step to switch lanes to two-way traffic regulation.
4 Construction overview
About 44 years have passed since Ono Bridge, located between the Asari IC and the Zenibako IC on the Sasson Expressway, has been cracked due to an increase in wheel load due to an increase in the size of the vehicle and winter season. It is necessary to replace the floor slab because the concrete floor slab is deteriorated and the reinforcing bar is rusted due to salt etc. caused by spraying the antifreezing agent.
In order to replace the concrete slab part of the bridge, it is necessary to close the Out-bound line (for Sapporo), but one of the two lanes for the In-bound line (for Otaru) should be closed for the Out-bound line (for Sapporo). By carrying out transfer and face-to-face traffic, construction will be carried out with minimal impact on traffic.
Main work contents
By replacing the deteriorated existing concrete slab with a new slab, it will be reborn as an Expressway that can be used safely and comfortably.

5 Requests for use
- Over the course of approximately 5 km, the construction section will be reduced from two lanes on each side to one lane, and one-lane on one side (two lanes up and down) will be face-to-face all day long. During the construction period, it is not expected that traffic congestion will occur due to face-to-face traffic control throughout the day, but if you use this section, we will make further efforts to drive safely and have enough time to use it. Please go out.
- Since the shoulders are narrow in the two-way traffic regulation section, please be sure to comply with the regulation speed when you drive and ensure the distance between you and the vehicle in front of you to avoid any collision accident. Also, as there is a large lane shift in order to shift to the one-lane section on one side, please follow the local information signs.
- During the construction period, we will provide construction regulation information as well as call attention to construction regulation information that utilizes information boards, road signs, and simple information boards, and cautions to drive safely. Before traveling, please check the above information before riding safely.
- Before going out, check the website such as "DraTra" for the latest traffic restrictions and congestion information.
6 Traffic regulations being implemented, future traffic regulations planned
