Congestion prediction on Expressway during Golden Week [Hokkaido version]

NEXCO EAST Hokkaido Regional Head Office (Atsubetsu Ward, Sapporo City) has summarized traffic congestion prediction and its countermeasures on the Hokkaido Expressway during the Golden Week period [Friday, April 27-May 6, Sunday: 10 days]. ,It will be announced.

Please refer to this traffic congestion forecast to avoid peak traffic congestion, cooperate with distributed use such as adjusting departure time, and make a useful travel plan. Also, please be sure to check the latest traffic information before departure, as the actual traffic congestion may differ from the forecast due to accidents or weather.

1 Congestion prediction

• During the Golden Week period, we predict that congestion will occur mainly on April 29th (Sun) and May 3rd (Thursday) to 5th (Saturday) (the number of congestion occurrences is as shown in the figure below).
