NEXCO EAST Hokkaido branch office (Sapporo city Atsubetsu Ward) is conducting survey on wearing conditions of winter tires so as to promptly change to a tire for winter in order to reach the full-fledged snowfall / snowy season We will let you know the results.
Expressway in Hokkaido is doing the first snow removal work this winter on October 23, but 20% of customers have not installed winter tires yet. On Expressway, there are also stuck and accidents due to vehicles equipped with summer tires. It is very dangerous to run summer tires on snowy roads, so please change to winter equipment before serious snowfall or snowfall.
The next survey will be conducted on Friday, November 10, and the results will be announced.
