NEXCO EAST Hokkaido Regional Head Office (Sapporo City Atsubetsu-ku) has summarized the traffic conditions of the Expressway in Hokkaido during the Obon period as follows.
Traffic volume during one period
- The average daily traffic volume in the main sections (average value of the following 9 main sections) is 20,400 units, 106% of the same period last year have become.
- The daily traffic volume between Tomamu IC and Tokachi Shimizu IC on Doto Expressway reached a record high of 23,300 vehicles on Saturday, August 13.

2 Traffic congestion
