NEXCO EAST Otaru Construction Office (Otaru City) is currently constructing a high-speed national highway crossing Hokkaido Hokkaido Expressway Kuromatsunai Kushiro route new construction construction was announced today by the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism under the Land Acquisition Act.

The project certification was announced as part of the total planned section (extension of about 23.4 km) from the expressway national highway Hokkaido crossing Expressway Kuromatsunai Kushiro route Yoichi interchange (IC) (tentative name) to Otaru Junction (JCT) (tentative name). It is between entrepreneurial areas (extension about 21.2 km) excluding the section where land acquisition has already been completed. In addition, procedures between the entrepreneurial districts are suspended in the section with an extension of approximately 9.0 km.

Currently, about 89% of the land for the entire planned section has already been acquired, but some landowners have not obtained consent to acquire the site. In the future, we will proceed with the procedure based on the Land Acquisition Law, but we will continue to work on the land negotiation so that we can continue to agree to the land acquisition by voluntary negotiation.
