2 Traffic congestion

  • The number of traffic congestion this year was 5 times, 8 times less than the previous year. Congestion of 5 km or more occurred only once.
  • The longest was congestion, August 14 (Tuesday) from around 30 pm 22 over the 40 minutes around 1:00 of the next day, August 15 (Wednesday) of the Doto Expressway occurred between Tokachishimizu IC ~ Memuro IC, peak It became a 14.0km in time (around 20 pm 0). This is what generated by traffic concentration after the fireworks end became postponed to rain in 14 days (Tuesday), Doto Expressway from near Obihiro JCT which the Obihiro Hiroo road to connect, Tokachiheigen of about 7km away from SA Tokachi It became a traffic jam between up to the vicinity of the river bridge.
  • The number of traffic jams decreased compared to the increase in traffic volume during the period, but this is due to the fact that the exit traffic at Yubari IC and Shimukappu IC was eliminated due to the opening of the Doto Expressway, and it concentrated on a certain day compared to the previous year. It seems that it was due to the fact that you could use it dispersedly.
