NEXCO EAST Hokkaido Regional Head Office (Sapporo City Atsubetsu-ku, Regional Head Office President: Katsuji Kubotera) summarized the traffic conditions of the Expressway in Hokkaido during Golden Week as follows.
Number of units used during one period
The number of vehicles used on the Expressway Hokkaido was approximately 149,000 units, a 4.2% decrease from the previous year.
In the first half of the period, last year was three consecutive holidays, and this year it was a stepping stone consecutive holiday, so it seems that the result was lower than last year.
Doto Expressway increased by 24.9% due to the extension between Tomamu interchange and Tokachi Shimizu interchange (October 21, 2007).
