NEXCO EAST Hokkaido Regional Head Office (Sapporo City Atsubetsu-ku, Regional Head Office president: Katsuji Kubotera) is located in Hokkaido during the Obon season [Sunday, August 12, 2007-14 days, Wednesday, August 15, 2007]. I would like to inform you of the "Trends in traffic congestion" and "Locations where traffic congestion is predicted and required transit time" due to traffic concentration on the Uchi Expressway.
Please use it to create a comfortable travel plan, such as shifting your departure time before or after the time of peak congestion. In addition, we will try to alleviate congestion by installing temporary booths at the main line toll gates where it is predicted that congestion will occur.
Also, traffic conditions may change due to accidents or abnormal weather. Please confirm the road conditions on the day of use at the Japan Road Traffic Information Center, highway telephone, etc. before departure.
