NEXCO EAST NEXCO EAST (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) Expressway REALITY It will be open for a limited time for one month from Sunday (Wednesday) to November 30th (Thursday).
In addition, to commemorate this, on-site events will be held at SA (service areas) and PAs in the Kanto area, including Umihotaru PA (parking area).

1. About “NEXCO EAST Highway World”

"NEXCO EAST Highway World" is a reproduction of Expressway space on the Metaverse "REALITY" app for smartphones with added features unique to virtual reality. In the world, you can experience various mechanisms such as driving on a virtual Expressway and ``Become a Highway Walker'', where you can use your own avatar to become a ``Highway Walker'' cover model. Through the virtual experience, we hope to create a place where people can talk about their memories on Expressway through live streaming and other means, and at the same time, provide an opportunity for people who are not familiar with driving or Expressway to learn about Expressway.

  • You are free to enjoy the world as you please, but please be sure to obey traffic rules when actually using the SA or Expressway.

2. “NEXCO EAST x REALITY” local event

To commemorate the first appearance of Expressway on the Metaverse, we will hold a local event. Popular streamers selected within the "REALITY" app will serve as ambassadors for local events and will enliven the event with their avatars.

Metaverse for smartphones has been downloaded over 10 million times worldwide. It is a communication platform where you can create your own original avatar with just a smartphone and enjoy everything from interacting through live streaming to playing games.
