NEXCO EAST (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) 2020 May 1st (Fri) to 25th (Mon) due to the cancellation of the emergency declaration in all prefectures on May 25th. We would like to inform you of the preliminary figures for traffic conditions in the area and sales in the service area (SA) and parking area (PA).
The traffic volume on the 12 representative cross sections in the jurisdiction decreased by 51% compared to the same period of the previous year, and it decreased by 74% due to the effect of exemption from holiday discounts for small cars on holidays.
Sales of SA / PA's food and beverage department decreased by 75%.
In all cases, due to the effect of requesting to refrain from going out without urgent need to prevent infection of new type coronavirus infection Large, the decrease was drastic.
