East Nippon Expressway Co., Ltd.
From Thursday 14th to Saturday 16th, blizzards are expected in Hokkaido and Tohoku due to the increased winter pressure distribution.
Especially in Hokkaido, there are places where snowfall has already begun, and it is expected that the wind and snow will intensify from the night of the 14th to the morning of the 15th, and that snowfall will continue intermittently thereafter.
Please be careful about poor visibility and deterioration of road surface conditions, and drive safely by slowing down and ensuring the distance between vehicles. In addition, please be sure to check winter equipment such as wearing winter tires and carrying chains.
Expressway may be closed due to future snowfall, so please check the latest weather and traffic conditions when you go out.
