1 Overview
The Fair Trade Commission said that eight bidders on September 21, 2016, alleged that the bidders involved in the paving disaster restoration work related to the Great East Japan Earthquake ordered by the NEXCO EAST Kanto Regional Head Office were acting in violation of the Antimonopoly Act. Since we have issued an order for exemption and an order for payment of surcharges to five companies, we will take measures to suspend participation in competition in accordance with Appendix 2 No. 4 of the “Business Procedures for Suspension of Competition Participation” I shall.
