NEXCO EAST (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) will hold the "NEXCO EAST 7th New Menu Contest" to develop restaurant menus for service areas (SA) and parking areas (PA).
The new menu contest will be held as part of the "making local show windows"* in SA/PA. SA/PA's restaurant chefs will create a new menu with twisted arms, with the theme of local production for local consumption. It is a contest to do.
In this contest, 47 SA/PA restaurants (planned) will be competing sequentially from November in 7 block local qualifying sessions, and the 10 chef-winning chefs will be held in Tokyo on March 7, 2013. I will challenge the final competition. Mr. Kenichi Chen will be invited as the chairman of the judging committee for the final competition. The menus of the 47 chef whole bodies can be enjoyed at each SA/PA after the final competition.
- “Regional show window” means that SA/PA proactively deals with local special products/commodity products so that SA/PA in each region can serve as a “show window” for the customer. NEXCO EAST unique initiative that provides the enjoyment of travel.

By adding various arrangements to the traditional ingredients and menus of the hometown, we wanted to enjoy traditional dishes that are transmitted to the local area from a new perspective and rediscover the taste of the hometown.
