"NEXCO EAST 6th New Menu Contest" will be held!

NEXCO EAST (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) will hold the "NEXCO EAST 6th New Menu Contest" to develop restaurant menus for service areas (SA) and parking areas (PA).

The New Menu Contest is an initiative to develop a new menu with the theme of local production for local consumption as part of "making a local show window" where SA/PA actively handles local specialty products.

In this contest, 44 SA/PA restaurants (planned) will be competing sequentially from November in regional qualifying rounds of 7 blocks, and the 10 chef-winning chefs will be held in Tokyo on March 22, 2011. I will challenge the final competition. Mr. Kenichi Chen will be invited as the chairman of the judging committee for the final competition.

The menu of the 44 chef whole bodies can be enjoyed sequentially at each SA/PA after the final competition.

The theme of this time was to utilize the network of the East Japan region and to develop "energy" and to "smile" with a safe and secure menu with carefully selected ingredients.
