NEXCO EAST (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) will start selling new summer "Dora (Doraku) Bento" series from Saturday, July 23rd.
The new summer "Dora Bento Premium" was developed as a bento that supports the reconstruction by consuming the food ingredients of the area damaged by the Great East Japan Earthquake.
The word "revival" was entrusted to the auspicious "Fuku" by the image of "Kaoru," and was named "East Japan Tsukushi Fukukou Bento."
The large, bright red “Fukuka” letters on the hanging paper are designed to give the impression of “Nippon” and the “strength” toward recovery.
This bento is supervised by Mr. Chiba Hamauchi, a culinary researcher who is familiar with the “Higashi no Furusato Bento” series of “Dora Bento Premium”.
