Characteristics of the open section-Environmental conservation efforts-
(1) eco interchange, eco area
For "the future of the environment", Ashikaga IC and Izuhara PA are being developed as "eco-inter" and "eco-area" which have introduced environment-friendly technology.
(2) Medaka and firefly canals
- In collaboration with a local NPO, we established a waterway (with a hiding place) in consideration of the medaka habitat.
- We have established a waterway where fireflies can easily inhabit (in which Kawana, which feeds larvae, is easy to live in).
Characteristics of open sections-Efforts to improve runnability and safety-
(1) Setting of backlight prevention measures signs
Signs that are easy to see even in the case of backlight in the morning and evening improve visibility when driving.
(2) Adoption of ceramic metal halide lamp
It has a color reproduction close to that of sunlight, improves visibility, and consumes less power, leading to CO2 reduction.
(3) Reducing the number of ETC lane closures
By using a new type of lighting fixtures, the number of lights will be reduced, and by reviewing the lighting positions that were previously placed on the lane to a position that does not affect the passage, the number of times the lane will be closed by changing the lighting will be reduced.
We set up a fence to prevent the invasion of animals, prevent collisions and improve safety.
