"Dora (Doraku) Bento" Recipe Contest will be held!

NEXCO EAST (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) is recruiting recipes for "Dora bento" from customers from June 1, 2010 (Tue) to August 31, 2010 (Tue). Lunch box “recipe contest” will be held.

"Dora Bento" promotes local production for local consumption and uses local ingredients as part of the "regional show window" that actively handles regional special products in service areas (SA) and parking areas (PA). It is a lunch that you can easily enjoy.

In this contest, culinary researcher Chiba Hamauchi and travel journalist Shinobu Kobayashi will examine and promote commercialization based on the selected recipes. In addition, a gift voucher (equivalent to 30,000 yen) that can be used at NEXCO EAST 's SA/PA will be presented to the selected works.

Application acceptance period

From June 1, 2010 (Tue) to August 31, 2010 (Tue)

  • Postmarks will be valid until 23:59 on August 31st (Tuesday) on the Internet, and on August 31st (Tuesday) if sent by mail.

Application method

  • Applications for the Internet will be available from Tuesday, June 1st.
  • The application form will be placed at SA/PA that sells "Dora Bento" or "Dora Bento Premium" during the application period.

Application conditions

  • The entries are self-made and unpublished and must be the original dishes of the applicant. It doesn't matter which genre is Japanese, Western or Chinese.
  • Nex-area Company Limited retains all copyrights, usage rights and all other rights relating to the submitted work. Also, the content of the work may change when the submitted work is commercialized.
  • The cost of application will be borne by the applicant.
  • Entries will not be returned.
  • Applicants are limited to individuals, and applications from businesses are invalid.

Examination

  • Culinary researcher Chiba Hamauchi and travel journalist Shinobu Kobayashi will examine and select works to be commercialized.
  • Eight selections are planned. However, it may increase or decrease as a result of selection.
  • A gift voucher (equivalent to 30,000 yen) that can be used at NEXCO EAST SA/PA will be presented to the selected works.
  • Selected works will be commercialized under the supervision of Chiba Hamauchi or Shinobu Kobayashi. Details of "Dora Bento" that will be commercialized will be announced again as soon as it is decided.
