NEXCO EAST (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Chairman of the Board: Shigejiro Yagi) is proceeding with "Toilet Refresh Plan" from this year.

On Wednesday, December 19, the women's toilet on the Out-bound line of the Miyoshi parking area (PA) in the Kan-Etsu Expressway will be reopened as a toilet with new or enhanced facilities such as a fitting room. .. The men's toilet and sub toilet will be reopened by the end of March 2008.

In addition, all the service areas (SA) and PA toilets will be refreshed by 2010. We will also work on refreshing the toilets (50 places) in SA/PA restaurants in parallel.

Refreshing contents of Miyoshi PA women's toilet

1. Overview
When renewing, toilets are based on three concepts: "clean and comfortable to use," "more people from children to the elderly can use", "remove various barriers and use with peace of mind" We have enhanced the equipment.
Floor area is about 330m 2 So, the number of toilet bowls is 47.

2. Main equipment

  • Comfortable and clean heating and washing toilet seats installed (all toilet seat cleaners are provided)
  • All automatic faucets for warm and warm water in winter
  • Approximately 80% of all toilets are Western-style toilets that are easy for the elderly and children to use.
  • Adopting a woodgrain toilet booth that feels warm
  • Set up a children's toilet for mothers to feel at ease
  • Adopted a rubber tile on the floor of the toilet to keep it clean
  • The inner wall of the entrance is displayed in red and marked with a large mark to make it easier to understand the women's toilet
  • Installation of a meeting corner that secures a spacious space
  • Installation of a powder corner where you can remake your makeup
  • A dedicated private room (fitting room) that can be used for changing clothes
  • Indirect lighting that produces soft light and top light that takes in natural light
  • Uses aromatic agents with aromatherapy effect
