NEXCO EAST (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Chairman: Shigejiro Yagi) and Korakuen Co., Ltd. (Koriyama City, Fukushima Prefecture, President and Chief Executive Officer: Den Niida) will be on the Tohoku Expressway Azuma Parking Area on December 20th. (PA) Open "Korakuen" on the Out-bound line (Fukushima City, Fukushima Prefecture). This is the first time that "Korakuen" has been opened in SA/PA on Expressway.
In addition, NEXCO EAST and FamilyMart Co., Ltd. (Toshima-ku, Tokyo, President and Chief Executive Officer: Junji Ueda) will open "FamilyMart" at the same PA on the same day.
Store overview
Considering the characteristics of the relatively short stay in the Azuma PA Out-bound line and the high need for noodles that can be easily eaten, we have decided to make it a combined store of national brand stores and convenience stores in the ramen format. In addition, the ramen business format is widely deployed in the city, and “Korakuen”, which originated in Fukushima, will open a store.
