NEXCO EAST (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Chairman: Shigejiro Yagi) and Clear Channel Japan, a Japanese subsidiary of Clear Channel Outdoor Holdings (Phoenix, Arizona, USA), which operates an outdoor advertising business in more than 60 countries around the world. Co., Ltd. (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, President and Chief Executive Officer: Toivo Morar Petersen) will jointly develop an outdoor advertising business in the service area (SA) and parking area (PA).

As the first of these, we will install an outdoor advertising panel "Highway Impact" in Kosaka SA (upper and lower lines, Higashimatsuyama City, Saitama Prefecture) and start the service from Thursday, October 11, 2007.

In addition to the four units installed in Kosaka SA (two units each for the upper and lower lines), we plan to install them on the Kan-Etsu Expressway Jozato SA (upper and lower lines) and Miyoshi PA (Out-bound line) by the end of the year.

NEXCO EAST and Clear Channel Japan will provide new information value to the highway by creating high-quality advertising media and posting high-quality advertisements, aiming to improve the landscape of SA/PA.

In commemoration of the launch of the "Highway Impact" service, Mr. Kiminori Tokuyama, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Renault Japon, was invited to represent the advertiser from 14:00 on the same day, and President and Chief Executive Officer NEXCO EAST Keiichi Inoue and President and Chief Executive Officer Clear Channel Japan Co., Ltd., Toivo Moller Petersen, will attend the unveiling ceremony.
