NEXCO EAST (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Chairman: Jujiro Yagi) We have summarized traffic congestion forecasts due to traffic concentration on Expressway.
NEXCO EAST As a feature of this year's New Year's holiday in the area, It is predicted that traffic jams due to U-turns, etc. during homecoming will occur particularly frequently on Tuesday, January 2 and Wednesday, January 3.
Big traffic jam of more than 15km, the Tohoku Expressway In-bound near and sheet pile interchange Kan-Etsu Expressway In-bound is expected in the vicinity of the Garden interchange.
In addition, even in places where there is not much traffic, such as around the Kan-Etsu Expressway In-bound and Out-bound Numata Interchange, there are places where it is predicted that the time required for transit will increase by 20 minutes or more compared to normal times due to traffic congestion.
