NEXCO EAST (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Chairman: Yagi OmoJiro), the subsidiary of the Company from today is wholly owned "Corporation NEXCO Tall Kanto" (Funabashi, Chiba Prefecture, President and Chief Executive Officer: Hirozo Saeki (our Kanto Regional Head Office since length concurrently)) is now able to start some of the toll collection business in Chiba Prefecture, it will be announced.
In our company, among the Expressway maintenance work, we let our subsidiary take charge of the business, including toll collection work that is directly connected to management defects, corporate credit, and requires the accumulation of experience, know-how and technology. We have already announced the policy of maximizing the consolidated corporate value by implementing the strategies as one division of the Company, sharing the strategies and implementing them in an integrated manner. This business start will be the first maintenance operation by a subsidiary of the Company.
In the future, we plan to gradually start the toll collection business in other regions and the maintenance management business other than the toll collection business, starting from those that are ready.
