- Since the current ETC does not cover motorcycles, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism and the relevant organizations such as East Nippon Expressway Co., Ltd. have been working together to study the introduction of motorcycle ETC.
- Based on the results of the examination, since April 28, 2005, trial operation by professional riders has been conducted at some toll gates in the Tokyo area.
- As a result of analyzing the operation status, it was confirmed that there was no problem in terms of safety and reliability such as operation of communication equipment.
- Therefore, we decided to conduct a trial operation with monitors (5,000 nationwide) for general riders, targeting Expressway across the country.
- First, We would like to inform you that we are looking for monitors in the Tokyo metropolitan area. For details on recruitment, Attachment Please refer to the monitor recruitment guidelines.
- In the future, based on the driving situation in the Tokyo metropolitan area, we will gradually Large the trial range to the Kinki area and the Chubu area, and we will proceed with preparations for nationwide expansion.

Please prepare an ETC card by the time you start monitoring.
Strictly observe the target range and drive.
Living in Tokyo, Kanagawa, Saitama and Chiba prefectures.
You have an email address that you can contact.
You have a motorcycle that can be equipped with an ETC on-board unit.
*Vehicles where the ETC on-board unit accommodation space cannot be secured can be installed using an external storage box. (Box and box installation costs are borne by the monitor)
Please bring the vehicle to the installation shop designated by the secretariat for installation of the vehicle-mounted device.
