Meeting held to prevent wrong-way driving on national expressways in Tochigi Prefecture

In response to a series of wrong-way driving accidents on Expressway in Tochigi Prefecture, the Tochigi Prefectural Police Headquarters Traffic Department, Tochigi Prefectural Road Public Corporation, and the Kanto Regional Head Office, Utsunomiya Management Office, and Kazo Management Office of East Nippon Expressway Co., Ltd. Ltd. held a meeting to discuss measures against wrong-way driving on September 9 2024.

At the meeting, information was shared on the causes of past wrong-way driving incidents and the current status of measures to prevent wrong-way driving, and measures planned for future implementation were confirmed.
