Due to renovation work at Umihotaru Parking Area
Notice regarding restrictions on use of certain facilities, relocations, and changes to store opening hours

NEXCO EAST Tokyo Wan Aqua-Line Expressway Management Office (Kisarazu City, Chiba Prefecture) and Trans-Tokyo Bay Highway Co. (Shinagawa Ward, Tokyo) will carry out renovation work on the aging stairs, escalators, and roof of the CA Tokyo Wan Aqua-Line Expressway (hereinafter "Aqua-Line") Umihotaru Parking Area (hereinafter "PA"). The work will be carried out over a long period from Tuesday, May 7, 2024 to the spring of 2027, and will be carried out in stages, switching construction locations.
During the period announced today, there will be restrictions on the use of the car park on the 1st floor of Umihotaru PA and the stairs and escalators between the 1st and 5th floors, the 1st floor bus stop and motorcycle parking space will be relocated, and the opening hours of the stores on the 5th floor will be changed.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our customers, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

• We will notify you separately regarding construction plans after November 2024.

2. Scope of impact

1. Some of the parking spaces in the large car park on the 1st floor (In-bound lane) will be unavailable.
   • If In-bound side is full, we will direct you to the large parking lot on Out-bound side.
2. The bus stop and motorcycle parking space on the 1st floor (In-bound) will be relocated.
3. The stairs from the 1st to 2nd floors will be unavailable all day.
   • The escalators cannot be used at night.
   • Please use the elevator or indoor stairs.
4. Opening hours of some stores on the 5th floor will be changed.

• If the large parking lot on In-bound lanes is full, we will direct you to the large parking lot on Out-bound lanes.
  In that case, please follow the instructions of the guides.

3. The stairs from the 1st to 2nd floors will be unavailable all day.

3. Overview of the renovation work

At Umihotaru PA, the aging stairs, escalators, and roof will be completely renovated.
The roof will have a membrane roof structure, transforming the space into one with an open feel.
