NEXCO EAST Keihin Management Office (Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture) has closed the ETC lane at the In-bound entrance of the E83 Yokohama-Shindo Road Kawakami Interchange (hereinafter referred to as "IC") in order to install a connecting passageway for toll gate staff. (You can use the ETC lane from 6:00 am to 9:00 am on weekdays.)
During the construction period, ETC lanes will not be available for use, so if you are using ETC, please hand your ETC card to the toll booth staff. As congestion is expected, we ask for your cooperation in detouring to nearby ICs such as Imai IC.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to our customers, but we ask for your understanding and cooperation so that you have plenty of time to spare when you go out.
1. Entrance lane traffic restriction points
Two of the three lanes at Yokohama-Shindo Road Kawakami IC (In-bound line) entrance will be closed.
- Only one general lane will be operated, and the ETC lane cannot be used.
(You can use the ETC lane from 6:00 to 9:00 on weekday mornings.)
- Attached to each line E83 The indications such as indicate the route number (numbering) of Expressway.
2. Construction period
Friday, February 9, 2020 - mid-March, 2020 (scheduled) All day (24 hours)
- Also available on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. In addition, the period may change depending on the progress of the construction.
During the above period, ETC lanes will not be available for use (ETC lanes are available from 6:00 am to 9:00 am on weekdays), so if you are using ETC, please hand your ETC card to the tollgate staff. .
Additionally, as congestion is expected during the construction period, we ask for your cooperation in detouring to nearby ICs such as Imai IC.
3. Construction overview
At Yokohama-Shindo Road Kawakami IC (In-bound line) entrance, construction work will be carried out to install a connecting passageway to prevent accidents involving vehicles such as toll gate staff in the ETC lane. During construction around the foundation of the connecting passage, two lanes, including the ETC lane, will be closed and work will continue day and night. We will carry out construction work intensively and efficiently to minimize inconvenience to our customers.
