NEXCO EAST Keihin Management Office (Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture) will be closing some lanes at the In-bound entrance of the E83 Yokohama-Shindo Road Kawakami Interchange (hereinafter referred to as the "IC") in order to install a connecting passageway. Please note that during construction, ETC will not be available for a period of time.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to our customers, but we ask for your understanding and cooperation so that you have plenty of time to spare when you go out.

1. Entrance lane traffic restriction points

Two of the three lanes at Yokohama-Shindo Road Kawakami IC (In-bound line) entrance will be closed.

2. Construction period

2024 to mid-2024 (scheduled)

  • Also available on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. In addition, the period may change depending on the progress of the construction.
  • The ETC lane will not be available for approximately 30 days during Step 2 (you can use the ETC lane from 6:00 am to 9:00 am on weekdays), so if you are using ETC, please present your ETC card to the toll booth staff. Please give it to me.

2024 11th (Thursday) to February 8th (Thursday) (scheduled) All day (24 hours)

  • During the above period, ETC lanes will not be available for use (ETC lanes are available from 6:00 am to 9:00 am on weekdays), so if you are using ETC, please hand your ETC card to the toll booth staff. Additionally, as congestion is expected during the construction period, we ask for your cooperation in detouring to nearby tollgates such as Imai IC.

3. Construction overview

At Yokohama-Shindo Road Kawakami IC (In-bound line) entrance, construction work will be carried out to install a connecting passageway to prevent accidents involving vehicles such as toll gate staff in the ETC lane. During construction around the foundation of the connecting passage, two lanes, including the ETC lane, will be closed and work will continue day and night. We will carry out construction work intensively and efficiently to minimize inconvenience to our customers. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
