　１２月１７日（日）日中から１２月１８日（月）日中にかけて、冬型の気圧配置が強まり、北海道・東北地方・新潟県では天候が悪化し大雪や猛吹雪の予報が出ております。

　大雪や猛吹雪の地域では、高速道路の通行止めを行う可能性があります。（詳しくは、別図をご覧ください）　

　特にE１７ 関越自動車道（湯沢IC～長岡IC）の区間では、最大60ｃｍの降雪が見込まれます。

　なお、高速道路と一般国道の同時通行止めとなる可能性もありますので、大雪となる地域への不要不急のお出かけはお控えいただくようお願いいたします。最新の気象予報・道路交通情報をご確認いただき、ルート・日程の見直しのご検討をお願いいたします。

　高速道路上では、自力走行不能車両が一台でも発生すると、長時間の渋滞や通行止めにつながる恐れがあります。降雪の予測されている地域にて、高速道路をご利用される場合は、必ず冬用タイヤの装着とタイヤチェーンを携行していただくとともに、特に雪道を走行する際にはチェーンの装着をお願いします。
