[E16] Notice of road closure between Sawara IC and Maborikaigan IC on Yokohama Yokosuka Road up and down line

NEXCO EAST Keihin Management Office (Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture), E16 Yokohama Yokosuka Road Up and Down Line Sahara Interchange (hereinafter referred to as "IC") ⇔ Maborikaigan IC between Kanagawa Prefectural Police In order to carry out live inspection, the road will be closed (for about 3 hours) as follows.
We apologize for the inconvenience, but we ask for your understanding and cooperation so that you have enough time in advance.

1. Closed section, date and time

1. section:
   Between Sawara IC and Maborikaigan IC on Yokohama Yokosuka Road
2. Date and time:
   Friday, September 1, 2023, from 10:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. (about 3 hours)
   • The end time will be around depending on the progress of the live commentary.
   • In stormy weather, we will not close the road and postpone it at a later date. We will inform you of the schedule after the postponement.

   

2. Detour

Please refer to the diagram below for detours.
If you detour between Sawara IC and Maborikaigan IC as indicated by the blue arrow, it will take about 10 minutes (usually about 4 minutes).
Also, if you detour between Sawara IC ⇔ Uraga IC as indicated by the pink arrow, it will take about 9 minutes (usually about 3 minutes).
Due to the detour, the required time will be longer, so please leave with plenty of time.
