Thank you very much for your understanding and cooperation with the Tokyo Outer Ring Road Project (Gaikan Project).
2020 sincere apologies for the inconvenience and concern caused by the ground surface cave-in and cavity accident near the construction site of this project (Higashi Tsutsujigaoka 2-chome, Chofu City) that occurred on October 18.
In response to this accident, we have suspended the excavation work for the shield tunnel construction of the outer ring project, continued conservation measures, compiled measures to prevent recurrence of the five shield tunnel construction that are located far from the sinking and cavity sites, and efforts to enhance the safety and security of the community, and resumed the work sequentially and proceeded with the excavation work.
This time, we will hold an open house for people living in the vicinity of the shield tunnel construction site to explain individually using panels, etc., and the 24th (June 2, Reiwa 4) and 25th (October 26, Reiwa 4) "Tokyo Gaikan Tunnel Construction Study Committee" confirmed that the Oizumi side main line shield tunnel construction and the central JCT north side ramp shield tunnel construction In addition to "the status of construction based on measures to prevent recurrence and efforts to enhance the safety and security of the community," we also explained "how to proceed in the future." We also set up a forum for business operators to exchange opinions with residents who wish to participate.
