Tohoku Expressway In the general lane of the Tochigi toll gate, one suspect who illegally passed without paying the toll was accused of fraud (Article 246 of the Criminal Code) on December 15, 2009 (Tochigi Prefecture). I was arrested by the police.

This arrest was triggered by the fact that our company reported to the Tochigi Prefectural Police because we illegally passed Expressway without paying the toll charge that we should have originally paid.

To date, we have taken a strong stance of “don't allow unauthorized traffic” so as not to jeopardize the trust of our customers in the toll road business. We believe that the arrest of the police will ensure fairness in the burden of toll charges and prevent unauthorized traffic.

We will continue to take a resolute attitude against unauthorized traffic and will actively cooperate with police investigations to tackle unauthorized traffic.
