2024 It has been confirmed that there is an error in the contract limit price due to a cost estimation error in the "Ken-o Expressway Satte East Sound Insulation Wall Construction" contract signed by East Nippon Expressway Co., Ltd. Kanto Regional Head Office on January 10, 2012. In response to this, we hereby announce that we have cancelled the contract concluded with the contractor for this work.
We respectfully apologize to the contractor and all other participants in the competition for any inconvenience caused.
We will work to prevent a recurrence by further strengthening our checking system.

The contract is based on a conditional general competitive bidding comprehensive evaluation bidding method (comprehensive evaluation of "price evaluation points" based on bid prices within the contract price limit and "technical evaluation points" based on technical proposals etc.) However, if the bid/bid opening is executed based on the contract limit price set through appropriate cost estimation, another competitive participant will become the successful bidder. As a result, we have canceled the contract.
