Information on AED (Automated External Defibrillator)

AED is a life-saving device that is used when you suddenly fall into cardiac arrest.

When the switch is turned on, the voice guidance of the operation procedure flows, and the device automatically measures the electrocardiogram and judges the electric shock.

Since July 2004, the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare has lifted the ban on use by the general public. Since it is a machine that anyone can use easily, it can be used by not only trained staff but also customers nearby.

AEDs are installed in commercial facilities in the service and parking areas.
