2. Detour

The detour will increase travel time, so please allow yourself plenty of time when traveling.

3. Construction overview

Repair work will be carried out on the bridge extension section at the entrance and exit ramps of the Mizusawa IC on Tohoku Expressway, due to damage. The section in which this work will be carried out is a single lane, and since the work cannot be carried out under normal lane restrictions, it will be necessary to close the ramps to carry out the work.
Therefore, in order to minimize inconvenience to customers, we will close the ramps at night on weekdays when traffic volume is low, and carry out the work in a concentrated and efficient manner. This work is necessary to ensure that customers can use Expressway safely and comfortably, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation.
