NEXCO EAST The Sendai-Higashi Administration Office (Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture) will implement nighttime ramp closures at interchanges ("IC") at Sendai-Tobu Road ("Eastern Highway") and Sanriku Expressway ("Sanriku Highway") due to pavement repair work.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to our customers and ask for your understanding and cooperation in allowing extra time for your trip.

2. Construction overview
Pavement repair work will be conducted at each IC on the Eastern Highway and Sanriku Highway due to progressive deterioration of the pavement.
Since the work cannot be carried out with the normal lane restrictions, it is necessary to close the ramps for the work. Therefore, in order to minimize inconvenience to customers, the ramp will be closed during the nighttime on weekdays when traffic volume is low, and the work will be carried out in an intensive and efficient manner. We ask for your understanding and cooperation as this work is necessary for the safe and comfortable use of Expressway.
3. How to obtain traffic information
